A collective act of worship takes place each day. This is a special time and an important feature of life at St John's. It enhances the Christian foundation of the school and its strong links with our Churches.

Pupils are often involved in the presentation of worship, as well as visitors.

We have a Christian value as a focus each half term. Acts of worship broadly follow the patterns of Anglican and Methodist worship and our vicars regularly lead weekly acts of collective worship.

A ‘Celebration’ assembly takes place each week when we come together to celebrate achievements and reward badges and certificates.

Our School Prayer

Let peace live here.

Let the rooms be filled

with happiness.

Let love live here,

Love of one another,

Love of mankind,

And love of God.

Let us remember

That as many hands

build a house,

So many hearts make a school
