Happily enough, we were going to look at sculptures by Andy Goldsworthy http://www.artnet.com/artists/andy-goldsworthy/ and making our own outdoor sculptures. This week, explore what materials you have in your garden (without destroying/killing anything!) that you can make shapes/patterns with – look at the examples on the link for inspiration. This week, just explore the materials you have available - try and choose a material/materials to make an artwork with next week. If you don’t have a suitable outdoors space to use, try something similar with household items – what could you make patterns/sculptures with (that mum and dad won’t throttle you for wasting/showing the class on Seesaw or that aren’t making life a bit too easy [like Lego])?
