In line with our Assessment, Feedback and Marking Policy please find below information and dates in respect of our assessment and testing schedule:
As well as the statutory testing dates below, pupils undertake a range of tests x 4 times a year.
This includes:

an informal assessment at the end of the first Autumn Term (no test);

assessment or testing (age dependant) at the end of the second half of the Autumn Term (December);

assessment or testing (age dependant) at the end of the second half of the Spring Term (March/April);

assessment or testing (age dependant) at the end of the second half of the Summer Term (June/July)

Academic Year 2023 to 2024
Reception baseline assessment
Schools must complete the reception baseline assessment for each child in the first 6 weeks after they enter reception.
Optional key stage 1 tests
It is recommended that the optional key stage 1 tests are administered during May/June 2024.
Key stage 2 tests
The statutory key stage 2 tests are timetabled from Monday 13 May to Thursday 16 May 2024:

Multiplication tables check
Schools must administer the multiplication tables check within the 2-week period from Monday 3 June 2024.
Phonics screening check
Schools must administer the phonics screening check within the 1-week period from Monday 10 June 2024.
Academic Year 2024 to 2025
Reception baseline assessment
Schools must complete the reception baseline assessment for each child in the first 6 weeks after they enter reception.
Optional key stage 1 tests
It is recommended that the optional key stage 1 tests are administered during May 2025.
Key stage 2 tests
The statutory key stage 2 tests are timetabled from Monday 12 May to Thursday 15 May 2025.
Multiplication tables check
Schools must administer the multiplication tables check within the 2-week period from Monday 2 June 2025.
Phonics screening check
Schools must administer the phonics screening check within the 1-week period from Monday 9 June 2025.
