Welcome to Our After-School Club, A happy place to relax, play, create and belong.

At Brinscall St John’s, the care we provide for our children doesn’t end when the school day finishes.

Our breakfast and After-School Club offers a warm, safe and welcoming environment where children can relax after a busy day, spend time with friends and enjoy a wide range of fun and engaging activities.

Run by our own caring school team, the club is very much an extension of the Brinscall St John’s family. Children are surrounded by familiar adults, familiar routines and the same values and nurturing approach that they experience throughout their school day.

Most importantly, we want our children to enjoy being here!

More Than Just Childcare

 

We want Breakfast and After-School Club to be somewhere children genuinely look forward to coming.

After a full day of learning, children need different things. Some want to run around outside, some want to get creative, some want to play with their friends and others simply need a quiet space to unwind.

That is why we give children plenty of choice.

Our children can explore their interests, try something new, develop confidence and independence, build friendships or simply enjoy having time to play.

There really is something for everyone.

 

 

 

 

Opening Hours

Club is open to all children in school, every day during term time. 

Breakfast club - 7:30 to 9:00am cost £5.50 per child

After school club - 3:20 to 6.00pm cost £7.00 per child

    We regularly vary the activities available so that children have new experiences to enjoy alongside their familiar favourites.

    We know how important it is for parents to feel completely confident about where their child is spending time after school.

    Our aim is to create a genuine home-from-home environment — somewhere children feel safe, comfortable, known and cared for.

    Our team takes the time to get to know each child as an individual. We want children to feel that they belong, that their voice matters and that there is always an adult nearby who knows them and is ready to help.

    After a busy day at school, children are often ready to refuel!

    We provide a selection of snacks and drinks so children can recharge before enjoying the rest of their afternoon.

    We work closely with school and families to make sure that allergies, dietary requirements and individual needs are understood and appropriately catered for.

    Our After-School Club isn't separate from school life — it is an important part of it.

    The same values that guide us throughout the school day continue into our wraparound provision: Kindness, Respect, Resilience, Courage, Friendship and Forgiveness.

    Whether children are helping a friend, trying a new activity, persevering with a challenge, sharing a game or simply showing kindness to somebody else, there are lots of opportunities for our children to continue to Shine with the light of Jesus.
