Letting our

Light Shine Award

At Brinscall St John’s C of E and Methodist Primary School we want to acknowledge and celebrate the unique ways that our school vision and values have been put into action within our children’s daily lives.

We aim to celebrate the ways that children live out our school vision to ‘Shine with the light of Jesus’, as well as the words from John Wesley from the Methodist movement which included: “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”

Towards the end of the year, at a special assembly, we will be awarding The John Wesley Letting our Light Shine Award to everybody that is nominated for this award. We anticipate that many of these nominations will come directly from families.  All we ask for is for the name and the reason for the certificate. In the summer we awarded this award to many children for a range of fundraising events (along with other things too).   

If you would like to nominate someone from our school to receive one of these annual awards, please do so by completing and returning the attached form. Paper forms are also available from the school office.
