We do not look at Design and Technology units every half term, but if your child is isolating and we are covering it in class, I will update you with our objectives and offer some activities that could be completed.

During this half term, we will be looking at mechanisms and creating our own buggies (vehicles) that could be used for exploring different parts of the world. To begin with at home, you could research buggies and vehicles that are already used around the world. How do these differ depending on where is being explored? Does terrain matter?
You could then have a go at drawing/designing a new buggy that you think should be created. Why do you think this new buggy is needed? What makes it better than anything that already exists?
