Welcome to Our PTFA Page!

 

We are thrilled to have you here on our Parent-Teacher-Friends Association (PTFA) webpage. This is your one-stop destination for all things related to our wonderful school community.

 

Who We Are

 

The PTFA is a group of passionate and dedicated individuals, just like you, who care deeply about the success and well-being of our students. We work hand in hand with the school staff to create an environment where our children can thrive.

Our Mission

 

Our mission is simple but powerful: to support and enhance the educational experience of every student at Brinscall St. John’s, linked to the school’s Mission, Vision and aims. We believe that together, we can make a positive difference in their lives.

 

What We Do

 

Fundraising: We organise fun and exciting fundraising events to provide additional resources for our school, ensuring that our students have access to the best educational opportunities.

 

Community Building: We host social events and gatherings to foster a sense of belonging among students, parents, and teachers, creating lasting friendships and memories.

 

Support: We offer a helping hand to our teachers and staff whenever they need it, showing our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

We welcome everyone to join us. Whether you can spare a few hours, have fundraising ideas, or simply want to connect with other parents and teachers, there's a place for you in the PTFA.

Events

 

Below are details of the current events that the PTFA has planned.

 

We are always looking for extra bodies at these events, so if you are able to assist, then we would love to hear from you.

 

School Disco

 

This years disco’s will take place on Thursday 30th November.

 

Infants will be from 17:45 to 18:45. The cost will be £3.00 and will include a goody bag for each child.

 

Juniors will be from 19:00 to 18:00. The cost will be £2.50 and snacks will be purchasable, so bring some pocket money.

 

More details to be released soon.

 

Christmas Pantomine 

 

This year we have booked 70 tickets for Treasure Island at Chorley Theatre on Sunday 17th December at 16:30.

 

Tickets cost just £9 each, and this is always a popular event, so if you wish to attend please email Mrs Lormor (bursar@brinscall.lancs.sch.uk) stating how many tickets you would like, and she will add this to Parent Pay for payment so that you don’t miss out.

 

Chocolate Bingo

This will be held on Thursday 29th February 2023 at school - eyes down at 18:15.

More details to be released nearer to the date.

 

Summer Fair

 

This will be held on Friday 21st June 2024 at school from 15:30 to 17:30. More details will be released nearer to the date.

Meetings

 

We try to meet up at least once a term, and will arrange extra meetings if necessary.

 

We are actively looking to add a few new faces to the PTFA, so if you are interested, please let us know.
